It has committed to avoiding many ingredients that pose a threat to the climate, including parabens, phthalates, and other petrochemical-derived ingredients.

Blueland minimizes waste generation by using plastic-free, compostable, or FSC-certified materials for most of its shipping materials and product containers. It also offers concentrated formats, reusable containers, and refills for all of its products.

    Blueland commits to avoiding ingredients that pose a signfiicant threat to the climate, including parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, ammonia, VOCs, and chlorine bleach. It doesn't make any commitments around palm oil or PFAs, but Commons found no use of these ingredients in its products. Blueland is certified by Cradle to Cradle, and its products carry certifications from USDA BioPreferred, Leaping Bunny, EPA Safer Choice, Made Safe, EWG Verified, and the National Eczema Foundation.

    Blueland offers all of its products in a concentrated format, which reduces shipping emissions and minimizes packaging use.
