Ingredients are a big driver of environmental impact and how we shop, so we examined this aspect closely in our brand analysis. We found ingredients in these environmental categories of concern: petrochemical-based ingredients, palm oil-derived ingredients, microplastics, other ingredients of concern. It can be hard for small brands to eliminate these entirely.
